Kick Off Your Weekend with a Totally Fun, and Most Importantly, Free Festival Event

What better way to enjoy life than to be in a community that promotes camaraderie and fellowship? Experience this and more when you join neighbors and friends for September Saturdays! September Saturdays is the largest annual festival and community event in Douglas County. Its sole purpose is to foster community by creating an event where any resident can come and enjoy fun, fellowship, camaraderie, and inclusion. A community only gets stronger when it communicates!

September Saturdays is unique in that it is held on two consecutive Saturdays in September so that people have two chances to attend. There is no cost to attend since charging for any festival feature might preclude someone from coming; therefore, this festival is for everyone.

Now, in its sixteenth year, September Saturdays 2018 promises to be bigger and better than ever! Each Saturday festival will feature a community marketplace with over 100 vendors, choral concerts every 30 minutes, a children’s play area with inflatable games and adoptable animals, family amusement rides, and plenty of food! A number of free community services will also be offered including vision testing. Several community centers and schools will be on-site to offer fun events, freebies, and demonstrations.

Festival expenses are paid by Douglas County and the generosity of community-minded businesses, so that the festival, parking, and all features can have free admission. September Saturdays is held inside and on the grounds of the Douglas County Courthouse. Parking is available on the Courthouse grounds and on surrounding properties. A free van shuttle service is provided from adjacent parking areas.

Even though Sandtown Vista Apartments in Atlanta, Georgia provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
